Painting the Cauldron of Blood
October 2013·p. 110
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan separates the chassis, two statues and three Elves before painting. Black supports the structure while white makes the pale figures easier to finish. A warm brass sequence uses drybrushing and washes for the large metal areas. Completing those broad surfaces first keeps later fine detail cleaner.
