Jervis Johnson: Collecting Scenery
August 2013·pp. 48–49
THE SHORT VERSION
Jervis considers scenery an increasingly central part of a hobby collection. He plans terrain both for a convincing setting and for varied tactical problems. Shared effort between friends can build a useful range without everyone duplicating the same pieces. Fortifications that belong to an army provide a third reason to collect scenery alongside the battlefield itself.
