Jeremy Vetock: You Cannot Please Everyone
August 2013·pp. 118–119
THE SHORT VERSION
Jeremy watches a strong scenario idea become diluted as every player tries to insert a favourite army. He argues that an organiser should be allowed to set a coherent challenge. The same variety of preference applies to painting advice, where harsh criticism can discourage learning. Constructive suggestions and opportunities to run different events make that diversity more useful than trying to satisfy every opinion at once.
