Jeremy Vetock: Big Games
July 2013·pp. 122–123
THE SHORT VERSION
Jeremy recalls the effort and occasional disasters involved in running enormous battles. Size alone cannot replace the planning that makes a smaller game enjoyable. Shared painting and terrain projects provide benefits before the dice are rolled. Despite exhaustion and logistical mishaps, the memories and friendships made at such events eventually tempt him back into organising another.
