The Architect of Fate
July 2013·p. 154
THE SHORT VERSION
John French begins Ahriman’s story in the gap between a sympathetic Heresy portrayal and the later codex villain. Noble motives coexist with extraordinary arrogance and destructive certainty. Breaking that confidence lets the sorcerer hide from both his powers and identity before fate catches him. French uses the planned series to ask whether attempts to escape a known destiny may help fulfil it.
