Painting the Agrellan Refinery
April 2013·pp. 130–133
THE SHORT VERSION
The terrain team shares the coordinated methods used across the refinery. Dark undercoating and distant white spraying establish variation before industrial yellow is applied more heavily to upper surfaces. Separate sequences cover earth, roads, statues, craters, the wrecked Devilfish, mantlets, stonework and metal floors. Thin dirty washes and sponged wear tie the materials together, with medium controlling the staining and large brushes keeping the extensive project manageable.
