Jervis Johnson: Gamesmastered Games
April 2013·pp. 56–57
THE SHORT VERSION
An old Warhammer introduction prompts Jervis to revisit games run by an impartial third participant. A gamesmaster can create a story, choose the terrain and agree suitable house rules. Clear adjudication and friendly encouragement keep the battle moving without becoming authoritarian. This first instalment introduces the benefits, with further techniques promised for the following issue.
