REVIEW·WHITE DWARF 399

Herald of Nurgle

March 2013·pp. 16–17

THE SHORT VERSION

Gavin Newton’s plastic Herald towers over ordinary Plaguebearers with a distorted, open-bodied silhouette. A hanging Nurgling, stretched skin and asymmetric legs provide numerous repulsive details. The way the parts assemble gives the exposed abdomen real depth. The review presents those construction choices as central to the miniature’s disturbing character.
