Temple of Skulls

February 2013·pp. 112–113

THE SHORT VERSION

A sprayed dark basecoat and large drybrush make this scenery project quick to complete. Separate grey, brown and green sequences distinguish rocks, columns and carved skulls. The brighter central icon suggests stored energy without requiring a complex glow effect. Repeated applications of modelling snow finish the base and connect the piece to the team’s Chaos battlefield.
