PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 398

Dragon Ogres

February 2013·p. 110

THE SHORT VERSION

Dan Harden gives a Dragon Ogre leathery green scales and contrasting flesh. Drybrushing the scales first keeps the roughest work away from later details. The flesh gradually shifts from green towards warmer skin and pale highlights. Dirty armour, gore and an earth-coloured wash complete a deliberately weathered creature.
