Simon Cairns’ Dark Angels

THE SHORT VERSION

Simon Cairns places heavily weathered Dark Angels before a substantial Imperial building. Scenic bases repeat its marble floor so the units sit naturally within the display. A Deathwing Contemptor supplies the main centrepiece, while a converted Belial evokes the Piscina campaign with an Ork trophy. The army records a version of the character made before the official release.

Yarrick: Chains of Golgotha

Adam Troke examines David Annandale’s account of Yarrick’s failed pursuit of Ghazghkull. Shifts between the Commissar’s own perspective and the soldiers around him convey both his resolve and his inspiring reputation. Ghazghkull emerges through his decisions as an intelligent opponent rather than a merely powerful brute. Gotrek and Felix Omnibuses; Mephiston: Lord of Death
