Dan’s four texture guides give the heavily armoured Warriors complementary natural materials. Horns progress from warm brown to pale tips, leather returns to its dark base after a wash before receiving a restrained highlight, and skulls build through grey-brown and bone tones. Fur relies on drybrushed greys around a dark wash, with the closing advice encouraging painters to choose methods appropriate to texture instead of applying every colour in the same way.
