SHOWCASE·WHITE DWARF 395

Parade Ground: Imperial Tanks

November 2012·pp. 78–83

THE SHORT VERSION

The tank gallery examines how markings, conversions and weathering give large vehicles individual histories. Glenn More’s Ultramar-linked Demolisher uses salt weathering and earth powders, Carl Dafforn’s Crusader carries Black Templar campaign details, and Dom Murray varies winter-camouflaged Russes with crew objectives and kill marks. Rob Fletcher’s huge Praetor uses controlled airbrushed camouflage, while Jamie Forster’s reversed Russ hull and Battlewagon parts turn a former Imperial tank into a brightly painted Death Skullz vehicle.
