PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 394

Ben Johnson’s Warpstone

October 2012·p. 116

THE SHORT VERSION

Dan recreates the muted, smoky warpstone seen in Ben’s army with Warboss Green shaded by Agrax Earthshade. Rakarth Flesh is mixed into the green and then used for brighter highlights, after which Biel-Tan Green restores a common colour across the stone. Gloss varnish finishes the surface, producing a subdued mineral effect rather than the very bright green often associated with Skaven magic.
