Battleground: The Urdek Refinery
October 2012·pp. 106–111
THE SHORT VERSION
Dave Andrews explains how a proposed swamp board became a polluted Imperial refinery with roads, bridges, a dam and defensive positions that make it playable. Bastions and a raised Skyshield form the industrial centrepiece, while plasticard, spare landing-pad legs, chicken wire and clear sealant extend the terrain kits. Muted water and earth colours keep the scenery behind the armies visually, and broken bridges, wrecked tanks and industrial details supply objectives, cover and a convincing history of warfare.
