Rust Effect Technique: Tank Trap

THE SHORT VERSION

The tank-trap demonstration paints corrosion over a small terrain detail using Skrag Brown and Fire Dragon Bright. Agrax Earthshade ties the warm tones together and darkens the recesses, after which Runefang Steel picks out exposed metal. The contrast between rusty colour and a few bright edges suggests an object that has corroded unevenly rather than becoming a single flat brown surface.
