THE SHORT VERSION

The inaugural Paint Splatter gathers short techniques linked to models and scenery elsewhere in the issue. It covers four Chaos warband schemes, several contrasting approaches to rust, hot and cold daemonic glows, chipped Ork aircraft, checked panels, Skaven freehand and smoky warpstone. Heresy-era armour recipes complete the collection, favouring repeatable sequences of basecoats, washes and layers that can transfer to other subjects.

New Releases: Chaos Space Marines

The team examines the new Chaos range through its sculpted details and assembly options, contrasting the Forgefiend’s ranged weapons with the Maulerfiend’s close-combat machinery and the Heldrake’s predatory silhouette. Raptors and Warp Talons illustrate different degrees of corruption, while the Warpsmith, Dark Apostle and Sorcerer echo Imperial counterparts in sinister forms.
