Jes Goodwin describes mapping new models along a spectrum between mortal, machine and daemon. The project focuses on warriors whose obsessions have visibly transformed them, extending ideas tested in Dark Vengeance into Daemon Engines, Raptors and Warp Talons. He explains the Heldrake as a pilot reduced to a malignant core within a living fighter, combining armour, umbilical cables and Forge World aircraft shapes into a coherent visual language of corruption.
