The Incubation Sacs

March 2012·p. 46

THE SHORT VERSION

A pale flesh scheme gives the incubation sacs a different texture and colour from the red exoskeleton. Tallarn Flesh and Ogryn Flesh establish the shaded base, Dwarf Flesh and Elf Flesh brighten the surface, and purple shading picks out veins and recesses. A green wash on the larvae sacs adds another unhealthy note; Bowerman suggests choosing darker flesh when adapting the method to a fleet with a pale body.
