THE SHORT VERSION

Phil Kelly recounts Harald Deathwolf’s pursuit of the renegade Svane Vulfbad, whose shattered frost axe becomes part of the cybernetic jaw of Harald’s mount Icetooth. Other verses tell of saving his mortal tribe from Ice Trolls, fighting kraken-spawn in the Fang and destroying a Chaos-corrupted world’s Daemon machinery at great cost. The mix of verse and prose turns trophies and sculpted details into evidence of a continuing personal history.
