Painting the Wood and Metals

December 2011·p. 80

THE SHORT VERSION

Scorched Brown wood and Chainmail braces share a black wash before their finishes diverge. Earth-coloured drybrushing picks out timber, thin brown ages the metal and a final silver touch marks its edges. The nearby skulls receive their own brown wash and white drybrush, separating bone from the darker structure.
