Painting the Riders

December 2011·p. 88

THE SHORT VERSION

Keeping both Ogres separate prevents their backs and fronts from becoming inaccessible against one another. Tin Bitz, steel drybrushing and a brown wash age their metal before fine silver highlights. Flesh begins with Tallarn Flesh, deepens under a flesh wash and returns through successively lighter skin colours; the same method can cover the monster’s bare patches.
