Julian Bayliss: An Individual Style
December 2011·pp. 56–57
THE SHORT VERSION
Julian Bayliss draws on dark monochrome illustrations, keeping his bases and figures within a related limited palette. He builds without a detailed plan, frequently cannibalising Chaos Knight parts to give other models imposing weapons and shoulders. Beginning with one figure can lead to a whole warband, and he regards differing tastes as a reason to keep his style individual rather than seek universal approval.
