PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 382

Metal

October 2011·p. 69

THE SHORT VERSION

Tin Bitz over black establishes dark worn metal, followed by Badab Black shading. A red wash in the recesses lends the surface warmth and corrosion before Chainmail picks out rivets and edges. The method keeps armour subdued enough for the army’s flesh and markings to remain prominent.
