Armageddon’s earlier wars establish why its survival matters, from Angron’s Chaos invasion to Yarrick’s resistance against Ghazghkull. The account then follows the Ork warlord’s decades of preparation, renewed fleets, Roks, teleporters and unexpected seaborne assaults. Heroism by Guard, Marines and Titans repeatedly checks the attack, but betrayal, vast losses and the continuing flow of greenskins leave the industrial world locked in an unresolved struggle with consequences for the Imperium itself.
