Citadel Hall of Fame: Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka
January 2011·pp. 84–85
THE SHORT VERSION
Martin Footitt nominates Brian Nelson’s Ghazghkull for its aggressive forward motion, imposing bulk and mechanically convincing mega armour. Fine rivets, wires and trophies coexist with open areas that invite checkerboards, rust and other painted detail. Brian explains his intention to create a counterpart to Yarrick without copying the earlier Ghazghkull pose, and the accompanying Ork gallery traces the progression of scale from Boy to Warboss to this exceptional warlord.
