RULES·WHITE DWARF 373

Fortified Manor and the Corrupted Crypt

January 2011·p. 42

THE SHORT VERSION

The manor is divided into Great Hall, Tower, Courtyard and Outhouse, with specific connections controlling movement and assaults. Suggested properties give each area a role, from a defensive courtyard to a wizard’s tower or a lone character’s last refuge. An alternate Vampire Counts version replaces those effects with blood-slick halls, ghostly walls, unsettling corpses and riddling spirits, showing how the same model can support a radically different setting.
