Battlefield Challenges: Tower of Sorcery
December 2010·pp. 76–77
THE SHORT VERSION
Armies race along the table toward a three-level tower, with uncertain initial deployment and delayed reinforcements complicating the approach. Each floor is treated as a separate connected building, allowing assaults between levels and special access for flyers and large targets. Victory depends on holding more floors, while the ground floor doubles a garrisoned wizard’s casting and dispelling contribution. Jervis’s tactical notes stress occupying and screening the tower instead of being distracted by destroying the opposing army.
