PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 372

Badlands

December 2010·pp. 86–89

THE SHORT VERSION

Witchfate Tor supplies the focal point and red accents for a grey Badlands board imagined as earth saturated by centuries of battle. Charadon Granite and pale flesh-coloured drybrushing establish the ground, while bloody skull pits, menacing woods and bone-coloured giant skulls make the setting unmistakably Warhammer. Testing patches of static grass before gluing them adds controlled colour and life without weakening the macabre theme.
