Armour Plates and Golden Armour Trim

THE SHORT VERSION

The plates begin as deep blue-black, with blue-purple-grey edges building a cool highlight that is shaded back before the brightest finish. Gold trim uses brown-metal mixtures, purple and flesh washes, deeper brown recesses and pale metallic edges. The two recipes create a clear temperature and reflectivity contrast without introducing unrelated colours.
