Cauldron

THE SHORT VERSION

Cauldron begins with the armies at opposite short ends of the battlefield, each more than eighteen inches from the middle line. Units that can deep strike may reserve freely, with up to half the remaining force also held back. The separation gives long-ranged guns room to work and makes the first advance a significant commitment, while infiltrators and Scouts still provide ways to alter the initial confrontation.
