INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 364

Designing Elegance

April 2010·pp. 22–24

THE SHORT VERSION

Martin Footitt and Neil Langdown discuss how the Sanguinary Guard and Death Company frames establish an ornate Blood Angels identity while supplying spare parts for the rest of an army. Crosses, chalices and blood drops remain controlled enough to permit reuse, and older Jes Goodwin characters provide visual reference. Oliver Norman’s Baal Predator keeps the familiar tank base but changes its character through insignia and the long flamestorm cannon.
