PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 362

Details: Ringwraith, Claws, Tongue, Metal and Reins

February 2010·p. 88

THE SHORT VERSION

Grey edge highlights and gloss separate the claws from surrounding dark skin, while a purple-to-bone tongue gains a wet finish from varnish. The Ringwraith’s cloak uses khaki-lightened black and brown shading, with brown leather reins connecting rider and mount. Black-washed metal finishes the equipment, keeping the smaller materials distinct without breaking the model’s overall dark appearance.
