THE SHORT VERSION

The series returns to seven previously featured painters to show how their work has developed. Experiments with non-metallic metal, scratch-built scenes, conversions and unusual colour choices reveal different ambitions. Introductory advice covers spot colours, a core palette and corrective glazes. The selection emphasises continuing experimentation rather than treating an earlier showcase as a finished achievement.
