Painting Faces: Undead Skin
August 2009·p. 97
THE SHORT VERSION
Purple shifts the flesh foundation toward a lifeless appearance. Warm washes around features are countered by greenish highlights. Gore then distinguishes the Zombie’s condition from a merely pale living face. Related examples show how the same principles extend to Vampires and Ghouls with different levels of freshness and decay.
