THE SHORT VERSION

Purple-brown shading makes the blue-grey face feel organic rather than mechanical. Neutral khaki adds warmth to the highlights without a severe contrast. Aun’va illustrates ageing within the same palette, while Shadowsun receives a softer youthful treatment. The examples show how the underlying principle can produce individual character.
