Painting the Warboss’s Metal

March 2009·p. 92

THE SHORT VERSION

The guide distinguishes warm rusted steel from cooler verdigris brass. Brown washes and stippling age the silver weapons. Green-blue stains gather around rivets and recesses of the brass. Small bright highlights keep sharp blades and exposed edges readable despite the weathering.
