How Ian Paints His Saurus Warriors
March 2009·p. 52
THE SHORT VERSION
Ian combines a blue wash with drybrushed scales and smoother layered skin. Pale blue brings out the final highlights without flattening the darker recesses. Purple shading enriches the gold while grey spear points contrast with bone claws. A warm red-and-brown shield balances the otherwise cool miniature.
