Painting the Warboss’s Flesh

March 2009·p. 90

THE SHORT VERSION

Yellow and bone mixed into green make the Warboss’s skin brighter than his followers. Successive thin layers preserve smooth muscular transitions. Blue veins, tinted eyelids and muted lips add variety without losing the shared pale highlight. Dark talons provide a cooler contrast to the surrounding flesh.
