Painting Yellow Armour and Paint Chips
March 2009·p. 93
THE SHORT VERSION
Foundation yellow supports stronger layers over the armour. Dark flesh shades the recesses before progressively paler highlights establish the edges. Chips are built from their outside outlines towards dark and metallic centres. Leaving different stages visible suggests damage of different ages rather than identical fresh scratches.
