THE SHORT VERSION

Nick’s mounted army initially appears to have the advantage, with Knights, Dragon Ogres and Warhounds putting pressure on Phil’s slower force. Phil reverses the situation by using Unseen Lurker to launch his Chosen into a charge before the cavalry can dictate the fight. By the fifth turn Nick has little left beyond fleeing Dragon Ogres, illustrating how an unexpected magical movement can overturn a sound-looking approach to an infantry army.
