PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 349

Dark Elf Dreadlords

January 2009·pp. 94–99

THE SHORT VERSION

Seven Studio painters spend several days apiece converting and painting the new Collectors Range Dreadlords. Their approaches range from Joe Tomaszewski’s draconic freehand and Keith Robertson’s golden Corsair to Neil Green’s cold palette, Nick Bayton’s nautical base, Christian Byrne’s weathered metals, Chris Peach’s battlefield composition and Anja Wettergren’s lacquered armour. The feature explains the modelling and colour decisions behind the finished figures rather than supplying complete paint recipes.
