LORE·WHITE DWARF 349

Blood Axes

January 2009·p. 33

THE SHORT VERSION

Blood Axes borrow practices from humans, including camouflage, military decorations, organised manoeuvres and trade, provoking suspicion from more straightforward Orks. Their willingness to bargain for tanks or advice goes alongside a fondness for ambushes and withdrawals when these improve the odds of winning later. Human-looking equipment therefore marks a distinct Ork interpretation of warfare rather than discipline in the Imperial sense.
