Finishing Touches
December 2008·p. 89
THE SHORT VERSION
Turquoise highlights on the tail repeat a spot colour already used on the helm and shield, balancing the full miniature. Skin trophies, rusted chainmail and buckle details use local colour contrasts to separate neighbouring surfaces. Slate, spare skulls and grass build a small scenic base, with the skulls kept deliberately neutral. These finishing decisions organise the complex model rather than allowing every detail to compete equally.
