TACTICS·WHITE DWARF 347

The Sorcerer

November 2008·pp. 53–55

THE SHORT VERSION

Sorcerers rely on broad spell selections and substantial Will rather than enduring prolonged fighting. Simon Grant recommends keeping them near enough to influence the decisive area but protected from direct attack, and sometimes using their apparent vulnerability as bait. Gandalf, the Necromancer and the Witch-king illustrate different strengths. Courageous attackers, Heroic actions and simple combat engagement can interrupt their casting even without immediately killing them.
