Combining the Techniques
October 2008·p. 99
THE SHORT VERSION
A blue Rhino starts with heavy overbrushing, followed by increasingly light and selective drybrushes that define broad panels and hard edges. The guide explains why very dry paint and firmer strokes suit large flat areas, while warning that the process wears brushes quickly. Separate track steps add metallic wear and brown rust. An alternative blue scheme demonstrates a faster highlight option using Ice Blue.
