PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 345

Ultramarines Terminators and Dreadnought

September 2008·p. 90

THE SHORT VERSION

The Terminator’s dark blue base is washed black, then rebuilt with brighter blue-grey edges and a layered white helmet. Raised insignia, metallic weapons and purity seals receive distinct treatments, including sepia-shaded parchment and orange-highlighted red wax. Freehand script supplies a final personal detail. The guide recommends the same palette for the Dreadnought and illustrates a conversion using spare Terminator parts and a cyclone launcher.
