Citadel Hobby Essentials: Modular Movement Trays

September 2008·p. 87

THE SHORT VERSION

Will Bowdrey’s tip repurposes the tray sheets as sturdy paved bases for buildings. Alan Merrett’s examples use scored and chipped edges, kit offcuts and rubble to blend the regular grid into ruined terrain. A refresher also explains cutting the double-sided twenty- or twenty-five-millimetre sheet and fitting its corners before the straight borders. The same product therefore supports both ranked units and distinctive scenery.
