Cold One Skin and Scales

September 2008·p. 95

THE SHORT VERSION

The Cold One’s hide rises from dark green through Catachan and Camo Green mixtures, with Space Wolves Grey cooling the final highlights. Its scales instead begin in Regal Blue and are edged with Rotting Flesh mixtures before blue and green washes enrich the tone. Thin directional strokes define the tail. Planning the complementary surfaces avoids the warmer red appearance used on some Lizardmen mounts.
