PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 344

One of da Boyz

August 2008·pp. 40–41

THE SHORT VERSION

Fil Dunn chooses Goffs to make a first personal Ork army achievable alongside professional painting. Black armour, a whole-model wash and simple highlights turn a Battleforce into a usable starting collection, helped by Tracey and a concentrated weekend session. Glyph plates personalise the Trukk without slowing the project. A lunchtime defeat against Matt’s new army then supplies practical direction for the next additions rather than following a predetermined list.
